It would be just great if bundles from OBR repos can be installed in a PDE target platform.

Pascal, do you think this could be possible with p2 in future? To read OBR repos and install bundles from there?Kaloyan Raevhttp://kaloyan.raev.name/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27225531.post-54983956476262787552011-09-16T13:17:06.795-07:002011-09-16T13:17:06.795-07:00Hi Pascal,

Together they should pretty much address everything that you mentioned as gaps in the old OBR (which wasn't a OSGi spec BTW).

There is an EA draft available from last May that contains the OBR and Subsystems RFCs (here) but there will be an updated RFC available soon.

I would be very much interested in your opinion on the latest draft (I'll let you know when it's available).

Best regards,

DavidDavid Bosschaerthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13786738766478890804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27225531.post-770896392014374402011-09-12T10:51:03.401-07:002011-09-12T10:51:03.401-07:00p2 and ORB the fight that keeps giving and giving....p2 and ORB the fight that keeps giving and giving. Priceless..... Who knows how many years later none of the two has a viable UI to help developers and both depends on scripts and black magic to work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
